After the application of sealant is completed, can the next decoration construction or use be carried out soon?  No! Generally, the curing time of sealant depends on the product type and the temperature and humidity of the environment. For most silicone sealants, full drying, curing and setting usually takes about 24 hours, but it cannot immediately bear heavy pressure or be immersed in water. In places like bathrooms and kitchens where water is frequently encountered, it is recommended to wait for more than 48 hours. In the meantime, you can check the forming effect and hardness of the colloid to ensure that the sealant is completely cured before using it or proceeding to the next construction step. Only in this way can the applied sealant truly achieve sealing and waterproofing.
